Hi you all,

A new year, "new" things, or should I say: history repeats?
Meaning with history repeats is, that I have registered again after a couple of years. I don't remember exactly when the last time I have logged in, but it must have been several years, so forgotten the  username etc. The last 2 years I have spent several hours at this forum, but only lurking. I already thought a while ago that it's time to create an account (again). I still see some names around here, let's call them hardcore, :) PS1-ers. Many of these names were also here at the beginning days, which was for me PS1.2 What is with these people? "Playing" a game which runs on DOS. DOS you say? Our children (maybe grandchildren) have never heard of this operating system. Maybe some of these children can remember W95, 98 or even ME, but DOS....? So there must be something with this Precision Simulator ( I hate the word game) what makes it worth that there are still people who believe in it. I don't know what exactly, but I think for the hardcore PS1-er there is no real need to explain. No need at all.
So what brings me here again? Waiting for PSX? No, I don't think it's that, however I absolutely wanna be there when it arrives. I just think I wanna "visit" old friends again who share a common hobby.
So why not earlier? Well several reasons for that, but I think the most important (and best decision) was starting my own business 5 years ago. This took (and takes) a lot of energy, so only now and then I found the opportunity to visit this forum. Meantime I noticed that the last 3 months I was visiting this forum more often.
Actually the first time I visited this forum was after I read on the Aerowinx website "I was wrong twice". Don't know why firefox took me to the website, but there must have been something flashing in my brains like: Take me to the Aerowinx site. So I wrote Hardy an email which he responded and that was the trigger I regularly checked the website and this forum.

I'm pretty sure that this is going to be a nice year, because "old things" and "things to be happening soon" brought me back here. Both two things give me a good feeling.

Happy Newyear,
Roel

The reason some of us stick around is that we have re-modeled our lives around PS!

Thank you all, feels like a warm bath.

@Hardy: Dein "Prösterchen" kommt mir vor ob du dich noch errinnern kannst an meinem Mail.
