Real-Time Refueling - Preselect Bug

Hi,

If you enter a value in "Preselect" for fuel quantity then immediately click "Start" the value is NOT accepted.

You need to press ENTER first, or click in another text box for the value to be accepted, then you can press START.

Yes,

I see the same issue.

I have to place my cursor into another entry field (I usually place it back into the ZFW entry field) in order to get the correct fuel amount loading.

Otherwise the fuel just gets continuously pumped up to maximum tankerage.

I got caught by this for a while and couldn't figure out what was going on...

But all you need to do is hit Enter while the cursor is in the pre-select window, or else simply just Tab out of that window and you'll be good to go.

This is not a bug in PSX. It only happens on certain OS platforms.

Generally, in PSX, edit field values are accepted whenever the edit field loses its focus (click something else or press TAB or ENTER). On my Mac it works correctly as expected: When I press (not release) the mouse button while the pointer is on the Start button, the Start button gets the focus and thus the edit field loses the focus; so in this moment the edit value transfers to the system. Now when I release the mouse to actually select the Start button, the system has got the edit value already.

Ahahhh

It's a "Windowze 10" thing!! 🤷

I should have guessed.

Plot-twist: I'm on a Mac.

For other fields it seems to work as described (lost-focus) but just not this one.

When you press (not release) the mouse button while the pointer is on the Start button, does your Start button get the focus already? Or does it only get the focus when you release your mouse button?

simbro

Out of curiosity I tried this on both a Mac (BigSur - DE) and a Windows (10 Pro 21H1 - DE) machine.
In both cases I got the same effect in that the button focus only occurs on releasing the mouse button...
ie. works as intended!
Haven't got a clue why others have a different effect.... Language or mouse settings maybe?

The refueling start is now delayed by 300 ms in PSX 10.148. Hope this helps:
