see this link for the changed view:

This has happened here after a short time from starting the sim (alpha 36).

No idea why, or how to troubleshoot it more.

I don't see anything wrong, you have a PFD and partial map to navigate with....

Well the view changed from:
http://www.hoppie.nl/forum/var/java_2014-11-04_14-14-51-51.jpg

for some unknown reason after a short time.  Why I don't have any idea.

Unfortunately I'm not sure what sit I was using, as the sim saved whatever i last used.

May be related to the new nvidia driver that I've installed here (from 34411 to 34460).

I've not been able to reproduce the problem again (which is good except for troubleshooting )

try hitting the 0 on the keypad or go and reload your layout

Hi Matt:

I'd run the sim again using a different sit, and I don't recall which one I was using when I had the change happen.

I've not seen the problem again after several restarts of the sim using different sits.

May have been a transient here for some reason.

Wish I was down there by the way !!

Hi JJ, yes wish you were here also.
The brown screens do happen from time to time normally a resolution problem or a "computer fart" as I said before selecting another page on the layout or hitting the zero key will clear it, we use to get it in testing dragging a screen to another computer without stretching across computers turned on.
Cheers,
Matt

Hi,

This happens (or actually did not happen in a couple of weeks) to me too. The whole PSX becomes unresponsive and the graphics get are grabled. Switching from one view to another does not change anything and the screens gets refreshed very very very slowly.

However, I found out that as soon as you make a change in the FMC and EXEC it, everything gets back to normal: fluidity is back and no more grabled graphics.

No panic.

This may happen once a year on Windows when another program accesses the graphic card hardware directly while PSX wants to refresh its graphics.

Just do something that refreshes the whole PSX screen. E.g.

Press numpad "0" key.
Or cycle to another one of the 9 layouts.
Or click on a subframe border.
Or minimize, maximize.

That's it.

Do not quit any program.

Do not reinstall Windows.

yes, it has happened to me too when using PSX together and at the same time with:

- X-Plane 10
- Windows borderless gamming
- Always On Top

"0" solves the problem :-)
