Hi,
I just discovered a new version, PSX, will arrive soon, what great news and a version for Mac!!!!
So I've reinstalled Ps1.
Since I've switched to Mac I installed a VmWare machine.
When I run it in DOS mode it works well.
My goal is to runit  with PS1_earth and Google Earth.
I've installed 747ipc, broker.
Impossible to run it; When I run 747IPC I get error messages: "ShellExecute error 2" and "Fatal error" Can not find or run loadps.com, however loadsps.com file is present.
Have you any ideato help me ?
In advance, Thanks
Guy

Since nobody answers, I will try though I don't have an experience with Mac.

I want you to check 2 things first (although the chances are slims considering the error message you get).
1. If you installed PS1 from a backup disk, you should check that the directories are NOT Read Only.
2. Make sure that the time stamp of the 747HUMAN.FAC file is 19/11/1999 12:00.

How are we doing so far ;)  ?

I installed from the original CD, updated and
747IPC 3.1.
The file date is good.
Maybe an incompatibility with VMWare, or adjustment? If someone uses it, perhaps could he help me.
Thank you for your help.

Did you use a manual install or the 744 install wizard?

For Mac, I can only recommend www.dosbox.com. I have VMWARE also, but dosbox is so much smoother for PS1, and it starts in an instant. DOSBOX is free, and I set it up quite quickly, sound works just fine as well. I have no extras installed though, and did not try to connect a joystick either.

After updating VMWare corrected  for Snow Leopard, I've reinstalled 747ipc "automatic", very very good, and PS1.3 is now OK.
I must now make contact with PS1_earth and Google Earth on the Mac and everything will be perfect.

I've used "Boxer Dos", following the post who spoke. It just starts from the Mac and works actually very well.
Thank you for your help.
