Was he surprised? He just said he will see that later on. I vaguely recall that the IRUs need to be aligned for the value to appear(?)

Hangar 7 / Re: Loading Aerowinx in Window...
Last post by asboyd - Thu, 16 May 2024 00:24
The problem with Windows 10 is it is "very secure" in that it does not like programs in some directories.

Firstly, make sure you turn off UAC (User Account Control). This allows you to install/modify/run programs without pop ups or blocking.
Install Aerowinx in the root directory (eg c:\Aerowinx)
(You can install java in its default location as Windows will accept that OK.)

Once it is in the root directory you should have no problems as Windows will associate the .jar file with Java.

Hangar 7 / Loading Aerowinx in Windows 10
Last post by N421MJ - Wed, 15 May 2024 22:38
When I try to start Aerowinx in Windows 10 I get the following error:
Unable to install Java
There are errors in the following switches:
c:\Users\Jonathan\Downloads\PSX-Levine-May0524
(1)\Aerowinx\AerowinxStart.jar*
Check that the commands are valid and try again.

I will the latest version of Java installed.
I right click AerowinxStart.jar and use Java to open and get the above error message.
I have no problem loading on my iMac but my flight simulator yoke, throttle, and rudder pedal is on the Windows based computer.
Any suggestions?

Hangar 7 / CG TO trim calculation time
Last post by ASCTU744 - Wed, 15 May 2024 21:39
Came across this video of a KLM 744 flight, from Schiphol to Sint-Maarten:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IjfeGAnhc4&t=217s

At 4:10 the captain selects the sensed CG, but it takes quite some time before the trim shows up.

Even the captain is suprised ;D

Thanks Hans !  8)

The nice thing about StreamDeck is that you can organize the device the way you want and its pretty easy.
Like.. one page specific for TO...one for cruise... or like I did, by device..
I like it.

:'(
I have found a couple of little problems..
BANK R and BANK L should be better off with CMD R and CMD L instead, and with the "Activate CDU C"..
I forgot to add the command, and since it is a sequence, I don't know how to add it.
Hardy, is there any shortcut to that command ?
-hold Shift and Ctrl key simultaneously, then release the Shift key and then the Ctrl key.

If not, then this button can be deleted.

I will update the profile to address this problems.

Profile updated.
