VisualPS1 for FSX

Hello,

I am trying to install VisualPS1 for FSX but I think I've gotten a bit confused with creating the 747 model inside the FSX simobjects folder.
I'm following the manual included in the "VisualPS1FS9_Old_Files" archive, but I can't seem to get the included batch files to run.

They return: "This batch file must be run from the fs2004 aircraft b747_400\\PS1 folder" even though they are located in "D:\\Program Files\\Flight Simulator X\\SimObjects\\Airplanes\\b747_400\\PS1"

Is this the correct way to proceed, or does anyone know where I could perhaps download a working 747 aircraft folder for VisualPS1?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Arthur,

The batch files were for use with the PMDG aircraft in FS2004. They won't work with FSX.

You don't need them anyway. Just use the standard 747-400 model in FSX.

Hi All,  If somebody is using the PMDG 747 in association with visualPS1_FS9 what figures you are using for configuration of:-

static_pitch=
static_cg_height=

I am using -0.14 and 11.90 and have instability on the ground.

Thank you in anticipation.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Ok, that makes a lot more sense.
