Surprised and Excited

This reiterates other messages here, but here goes anyway:

It has been a  long time since I visited this site; I came to it today on the off chance that it was still active.  I loved the realism of PS1 but gradually stopped using it as DOS moved towards extinction.  I fly MSFS and X-plane, but there was something special about starting out in the "cold, dark cockpit" of a 747 and getting to point where you were at cruise altitude, chatting with air traffic controllers with nice Australian accents, enjoying that cup of airline coffee...

I thought my PS days were in the past, until I saw Hardy's message on the website, and my heart skipped a beat!  Seeing some of the screenshots in this forum converts my mood from "excited" to "just can't wait!"  Based on all those old "I'll never update the program" messages that used to be in this forum, I never thought I'd see this day.  

I'm pulling my old PS1 manual and am starting to study again for my next flight in 2010.  Thanks!
