Landing Gear Question

Hi -

In PSX will the landing gear axis be a value from down (0) to up (xxx) , or with a separate variables for Down, Off and Up? IE, is this a pot sensor control or 3 switches?

Wiring this, so want to have it correct   ;)

Thanks!

Hi, you mean the lever? It has three positions, -1, 0 and 1. There's another variable for the lever lock solenoid, it's 0 and 1. Virtual magnetism in PSX as well as real life homo sapiens can keep it pushed in to unlock the lever.

Cheers,

Sidenote: These rotating selectors and levers on the PSX panels move gradually, they are animated, but their controlling variables store only target positions, so there are no pots required. When a new target position is set, the graphical object rotates smoothly to that target position. The actual angle is not stored or networked (unless it's a throttle, speedbrake, or an actual pot such as dimmers etc.).
