PMDG 737 NGX looking good

Managed to get it on release day, flies well and looks well, better than most MSFS add-ons I have seen. They managed to tighten cooperation with the manufacturer which was helpful. I recommend to take a closer look, there is quite a bit to learn from certain ground breaking features.

Another issue if I may on this thread as I am on the road (near Parndorf, just east of Vienna). Hardy said Navigraph couldn't become an AIRAC supplier due to commercial aspects. I'd check with Florian Praxmayer who I believe developed the Fokker 70/100 for commercial applications as well. It's using the subject service.

The commercial F70/100 app is purely for FMS training. It's not the whole package, it's a stand alone FMS trainer. Tyrolean has tight bands with Jepp, so I guess they got the (limited Austria only?) data from them.

The NGX is their best piece of work sofar. Especially the VNAV coding is extremely reliable regarding spd/alt constraints.

That said, I still dislike RSR.

Well, it may interest some on this board that PMDG's next products after the NGX are a 777-200LR to be followed by a 777-300ER and then an UPDATED 747-400 and 747-8 based on the advances incorporated in the NGX.

I specially like that they modeled statistical failures - plane accumulates time and failures get more and more annoying  :mrgreen:
