PSX10 and XView for X-Plane10 / geolocation not working

Micha

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to connect X-Plane10 via XView with PSX10.
Strangly the geolocation doesn't work.
In PSX the 744 is parked at EDDF Parkingposition A22. In XP10 the plane is locating somewhere in the Atlantic on the westcoast of Africa.

You can see my settings in XP10/XView and PSX in below screenshots.

Much appreciating any help :-)

Best,
Micha

Micha,

in addition to the PSX Main network, scenery generators need to connect to a second PSX data stream, called boost server.
Your main network setup looks fine. Check if the PSX boost server is enabled:

1. PSX -> Network -> Boost. It shows a Start or Stop button..
  optional
PSX -> Preferences -> Basics -> Checkmark at 'Start with boost server on'

2. XView Settings: In line 1 'Boost', change the port number '10747' to '10749'

Joerg

Thank you! I had the boost server on but tried to connect to port 10747. I will try port 10749.
