Can I make a copy of the Aerowinx folder? Replacing computers

Dear Members,
This is probably a repeat question. Requesting your help.
I have been running an instance of AEROWINX on a PC, that is slowly getting outdated due to its age.
I plan to switch to MacMini.
Am I allowed to simply copy over the AEROWINX folder to my new computer? And I plan to cleanup my current PC before putting it to recycling...
Thanks

Good evening.

It is possible as far as I understand it  .... simply to copy and paste onto new PC. Ensure that the JAVA application on your Mac is properly set-up/configured.
It may become more difficult if you have extra add-ons etc networked outside of the main PSX folder ...

Do you still have access to the original PSX zip file and can just add that as a new install to the Mac? That would honestly be my preferred way of installing it onto a new machine.

Good evening, gents,

you can simply copy the complete Aerowinx folder from one PC to another. All NavData, Updates, NG et. will be included.

Of course Java must be installed, as Mark mentioned.

Assuming that your Mac Mini is new and therefore ARM architecture, you will have a choice of running an ARM or Intel version of java, the latter under Rosetta 2. It is possible to set things up so that both are available and you can choose which to run.

The ARM version does not support sound in PSX but is quicker. It will crash and fail to start if sound is enabled in PSX settings.

The other side: yes you are also ALLOWED to do this. The official stance is that you may use four (4) copies of PSX on multiple computers at the same time as part of the same flight deck. I believe (Hardy?!) that it is never a problem if you have multiple installed copies that cannot run at the same time because, for example, one copy is at home on a PC and another on your traveling notebook computer. So moving machines is never an issue.
