PSX Shared Cockpit Flying

Bumping this thread to let you know PSX Shared Cockpit is alive and well.

Apart from flying IFR from A to B and preparing to fly around the world in November, we have started flying the 747 SuperTanker in shared cockpit. A very different experience from the routine A to B IFR flights. Just load fuel and retardant, do a quick FMC setup and depart VFR towards the fire. Pull the aural breakers, arm the retardant system and try to get into position to drop. Two passes - 75 tons lighter - decide if you return to McClellan to reload or deploy the fictional scooping gear and find a large enough lake.

We are always looking for people who want to try this way to have fun with PSX! Have a look in the PSX Shared Cockpit Tutorial and get in touch if this sounds interesting.

The tutorial (see the first post in this thread) has been updated with some notes on how to use the new PSX router for shared cockpit. Me and voipmeister would love to have some more testers! If you are interested in trying this out - let us know (contact info is in the tutorial).

Yes. PSX and the router doesn't really care how many sims we merge into one sim. We did 2 pilots + observer for Vectors to Copenhagen a few days ago.

There's already a server for PSX shared cockpit (and some WorldFlight planning), and we already use a Discord voice chat for in-cockpit audio. Anyone is welcome, but to avoid bots and moderation headaches the server is not public.

Any PSX:er is welcome, just DM me (mk3830) on Discord and let me know your PSX forum username and I'll invite you to the server.

Just a friendly reminder that we have a very active, disciplined and welcoming Shared Cockpit Crew preparing for WorldFlight 2026.

Throughout the week, our crews regularly meet on Discord to train together, refine our BAW SOP, and build the teamwork that makes shared cockpit flying such a rewarding experience. We also use a number of custom-built tools to enhance both offline and online operations.
