Bumping this thread to let you know PSX Shared Cockpit is alive and well. :)

Apart from flying IFR from A to B and preparing to fly around the world in November, we have started flying the 747 SuperTanker in shared cockpit. A very different experience from the routine A to B IFR flights. Just load fuel and retardant, do a quick FMC setup and depart VFR towards the fire. Pull the aural breakers, arm the retardant system and try to get into position to drop. Two passes - 75 tons lighter - decide if you return to McClellan to reload or deploy the fictional scooping gear and find a large enough lake.

We are always looking for people who want to try this way to have fun with PSX! Have a look in the PSX Shared Cockpit Tutorial and get in touch if this sounds interesting.

Me and voipmeister would love to have some more testers! If you are interested in trying this out - let us know (contact info is in the tutorial).
Thnk you

There's already a server for PSX shared cockpit (and some WorldFlight planning), and we already use a Discord voice chat for in-cockpit audio. Anyone is welcome, but to avoid bots and moderation headaches the server is not public.

Any PSX:er is welcome, just DM me (mk3830) on Discord and let me know your PSX forum username and I'll invite you to the server.

Captains of our beloved 744.

Calling once again for additional pilots to join our - professional - shared cockpit crew.
Especially with the upcoming Worldflight 2026 we can accommodate more pilots.

Not enough Vatsim experience?
Not enough 744 systems experience?
Don't know how to connect or if your set-up is suitable?
Answer to all above is : No worries.
The beauty of shared cockpit is the ability/capability to accommodate and include all skills and set-ups.

If you are serious about shared cockpit experience and fun, please reach out.

Cheers

Let me know the next time you are doing a flight, very interesting concept. Would not mind observing to get a flavor of how this works.

Captains,

Just a friendly reminder that we have a very active, disciplined and welcoming Shared Cockpit Crew preparing for WorldFlight 2026.

Throughout the week, our crews regularly meet on Discord to train together, refine our BAW SOP, and build the teamwork that makes shared cockpit flying such a rewarding experience. We also use a number of custom-built tools to enhance both offline and online operations.

Whether you're an experienced PSX pilot or completely new to shared cockpit flying (or even VATSIM), you're more than welcome to join us. Experience is helpful—but enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment are what really matter.

If you're genuinely interested in flying as part of the team, please get in touch with @Macroflight.
We'd be delighted to have you on board.

Train for the crew, not the seat. That's how we'll make WorldFlight 2026 a success.

Looking forward to welcoming some new faces!
Keep the blue skies up!
