Very interesting, I wish they will be able to make soon an accurate and reliable self contained navigation system, independend from GPS

"soon" no way. This takes years, because first The Industry must sit together to write MOPS (and maybe even MASPS) to define what is good enough, then the FAA must review the proposed RTCA standard, then people must agree on a proper interface to existing aircraft, then somebody must offer their airplane for a year of test flights to gather data, then the FAA must make a rule to TSO the thing or at least approve a per-case, ... this is not going to be "soon".

I now completely skip the engineering issues to make a prototype into a reliable, proven-technology, series production ready unit that then can sell for a compelling price so that the companies can rake in profits without bankrupting the airlines.

Obviously the tech is impressive. That is not the issue.
