ATC Robot / Short flights

I generally fly more than 300/400NM steps with PSX. I use ATC robot with or without CPDLC and everything is OK. I just have an issue during small flights (< 150NM and below FL 180). The T/D is displayed on ND but no descent clearance is sent. After passing T/D, I have to go in the instructor page and reset "Talk to us" option. Then assigned frequency changes from center to approach. ATC send me a new transpondeur code and after a while a descent clearance. Is there a tip to avoid "Talk to us" reset?

Keep your FMC CRZ FL at 180 and just set the CRZ FL on the Voice-ATC page lower, e.g. to 100. This just triggers the change from CLB-ATC to CRZ-ATC while you're still climbing. But then the ATC robot will have more time for the CRZ phase.

I set FL180 in FMC and:
Option 1
- I wait to have the clearance for the cruise FL on departure frequency.
- When I have the clearance, I set for example FL 100 on voice ATC instructor page.
or
Option 2
- I set for example FL 100 on voice ATC instructor page before takeoff
