Ah, understood. I will check this later today or tomorrow for you!

Hardy, what I meant was: "Before you answered, I did try to find whether PSX tells me my host IP address but I did not see it, even while I must have looked at that page."   :-)

Thank you all for advice. I'm currently away from home but will test all this on return

Panos, sorry for the late reply. I was kind of busy with World Flight  :)

Just tested this, and it works for me. My Windows PC as PSX client connects fine to my MBA M1 as PSX server. The firewall on the MBA is on, I haven't changed anything. To be honest, I don't fiddle much with the MBA as (mostly) everything works.

Thanks for the reply, Seb.

And a last question.

Windows PC as server, can you connect the MBA as client?

Hi PanosI,

Yes, that works too. I wonder what is causing these problems for you. My macOS is Sequoia 15.0.1, Windows is v11, with latest updates.

I don't know, Seb.
I have double and triple  check everything both on MBA and windows desktop/laptop and I am running everything with the latest updates.
But as you can see form the links above, I'm not the only one who has the exact same problem.
