Short version: try MSFS2024 SU2, use AMD FSR3 (for both framegen and AA), limit FPS by adding e.g "FrameLimiter 30" in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\UserCfg.opt (this limits the "real" FPS, so with frame gen you get e.g 2x that to the displays).

The result is... jawdroppingly good. I have never been so impressed by an update.

Before SU2, I could not use framegen (wouldn't work across monitors and had problems capping FPS), so I had to settle for vsync or using nvidia settings' frame rate limit and lowering graphical settings to a level that allowed 60 fps mostly stutter-free (but I got high CPU and GPU load and occasional heavy stuttering in some areas). And this was on a 4090, so I was not too happy about MSFS performance...

In SU3 the frame limiter has appeared as an option in the graphics settings
