I bet that one of these days, Microsoft itself goes Jepp and then everybody else dies overnight.

That's exactly what I am thinking, too. Asobo might make Navigraph an offer which they can't resist.

Navigraph made a really good move when they integrated SimBrief and now they are offering an almost complete charts and planning solution, no chance for Aerosoft NDP charts to keep up with that. Who knows ... maybe Navigraph will provide access to LIDO charts sooner or later as well (no idea how exclusive their contract with Jeppesen is).

It would be interesting to know how many simmers in the world are really flying with up-to-date databases and use professional charts for more realism. I think it's less than 10% of all people playing with Microsoft Flight Simulator. That again might increase chances that Navigraph will not be swallowed by Asobo. ;-)
