When I try to start Aerowinx in Windows 10 I get the following error:
Unable to install Java
There are errors in the following switches:
c:\Users\Jonathan\Downloads\PSX-Levine-May0524
(1)\Aerowinx\AerowinxStart.jar*
Check that the commands are valid and try again.

I will the latest version of Java installed.
I right click AerowinxStart.jar and use Java to open and get the above error message.
I have no problem loading on my iMac but my flight simulator yoke, throttle, and rudder pedal is on the Windows based computer.
Any suggestions?

The problem with Windows 10 is it is "very secure" in that it does not like programs in some directories.

Firstly, make sure you turn off UAC (User Account Control). This allows you to install/modify/run programs without pop ups or blocking.
Install Aerowinx in the root directory (eg c:\Aerowinx)
(You can install java in its default location as Windows will accept that OK.)

Once it is in the root directory you should have no problems as Windows will associate the .jar file with Java.

In this case it may (may, I didn't try) also be that the _(1) (with a space and parentheses) throws Java a curve ball it cannot handle without " quotes.

Hi Hardy:  just to close the loop.  The jarfix software worked perfectly and allows me to open Aerowinx without any further problems.
