Hello,

I came across these video's:
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0GsDiQrk8xcW06dXu8_jS4K7SzRcWyZZ&si=cgL8O7byQ23ORQ-V

And wondered if they cover everything for an oral.

I.e. FMS, comms, wx radar are missing.

Never did an oral exam on any rating I ever did. On the airliners, it had always been 100 questions, mostly multiple choice.

That's due to the EASA regulations right (Guessing by your username  ;) )?

Would the linked video's still be sufficient for those 100 questions?

EASA and its predecessors, yes. I watched only part of it many years ago, but I think its purpose was to do just that. I'm not sure, it will give you the 75% score in the written, though.

As part of my PPL checkride the FAA examiner cross examined me for about an hour, before we went for the actual check ride.

Me too, when I flew in the USA with my German PPL.

In the SIM- and line-check rides, we do get asked stuff, of course.

Some of the things he says in these videos are technically wrong, but I imagine they'd help for the most part. e.g. the instrument source select switches not affecting the airplane systems. They do.
