Quote from: b744erf on Sun, 18 Feb 2024 06:01I have an OEM MCP for sale. Actually I have three for now, one is installed in my simulator, the other two is for spare. But I am going to sell one of the spare OEM MCP, which is actually disassembled from G-CIVN.

Hi. Do you still have this MCP available?

Regards

Great job, JG! Must be quite the improvement, tactile over touchscreens. I bet you enjoy it a lot  8)

Thank you Seb and Jack.....yes, I'm pretty happy with it, like everything PSX, Simstack is proving reliable and easy to understand and use. You just turn it on and it is there......exactly how you left it. What a shame the MSFS scenery generation isn't the same. Every time I turn it on the monitors have changed, or it needs updates or the internet is too slow to use it. MSFS really is rubbish and I feel for anyone trying to use it as their main sim platform. Off topic I know and I may start another thread.....but is Xplane as scenery any better can anyone confirm?
Seb with the Sim Stack card count we discussed, there is enough spare I/O's to do your Capt and FO master warnings and encoders for RCP left and right course and fine frequency tuning.
Cheers, J.G.

I am asking for 5.5K as before for the MCP removed from G-CIVO, which is tested and fully functional. I also replaced the blowed bulbs in the Korrys. It is in very new condition since the panel was just been repaired right before tear-down.

When you are buying OEM panels, the cannon plugs are as important as the panel.

New cannon plugs can end up costing more than US$200 each!

Yes. I totally agree with you, Rod. I remembered it was almost two years ago you once told me about that. But, I did not realize that until I worked woth my first OEM part. I now find the retired aircraft reclaimer here in China who sells the cannon plugs in a very very good price.

By the way, I think it is time to work with my ACPs again with simstacks. I finally have the budget for that.
