EFIS/EICAS C/P Failure

How do you fix this failure?

You can't ,,fix" it, but you can use the respective CDUs to control the EFIS and EICAS if both control panels (C/P) have failed. Is that what you meant?

I have received the Advisory message "EFIS/EICAS C/P".   I looked up the message and it stated that the EFIS and EICAS have failed. On page 333 of the Operations manual it states "both EFIS control panels have failed".   How do I resolve this situation?

Hi Bide, no worries you can control the EFIS display via the respective CDU and set qnh/minima etc

Left cdu Menu-> right LSK efis and eicas captain side

Right cdu for Copilot side.

* i am not home, maybe you need to select panel on/off to get access*

Bode, is that a training scenario to learn the alternate EFIS control via the CDU? Then refer to Jay's hint :-)

If not, check on P7 that the CBs F11 and F16 are in.

On your left and right CDUs, on the MENU pages, the alternate EFIS/EICAS control is selected ON. Just select them OFF.
