Wind corridor: random deviations?

Hi Hardy,

Thanks for the latest update. Here's a new question for you. With the Wind corridor, there is the "Wind & OAT random deviations" slider. When are those deviations calculated and applied? During a flight, would moving the slider all the way to the left remove the random deviations? And would moving the slider to the right again create a new set of random deviations? Or are the deviations calculated and applied just once, when the wind corridor is generated?

Thanks.

Hi Will,

there is one global random factor (G).
Plus: Every weather variable at each corridor point has its own random factor (P1, P2, ...).
The final, applied factor (F1, F2, ...) on every variable is:
F1 = G * P1
F2 = G * P2
etc.

The G factor is set by the slider position. If the slider is at 0, it's 0. If at 3, it's 3.
The P factors change to a new random value every 60 minutes. The transition is very smooth.
