Eye height problem

We are trying to connect our PSX sim to a separate visual computer running P3D. We are using the POSKY aircraft model and WidePSX. Starting up P3D with the B747 model as default, the eye height appears about the right height above the runway. On successfully connecting P3D to PSX via WidePSX, the eye height drops to ground level. I have enabled the eye height offset on the bridge tab in WidePSX, checked the eyepoint height in the model config file but i can't get the eye height to a more typical height. If you get the aircraft in the air the picture then intermittently flashes between your current altitude and ground level. 

Anybody got any suggestions?
