Today before my flight started there was a flashing "Motion" displaying in the upper left hand corner of PSX.   I never could get rid of the flashing "Motion."

That's motion freeze.

Press the M key,
or go to Instructor > Situation > Time, and there, deselect the "Motion freeze" checkbox.
