Carl,

I was able to get Joy2Key to raise and lower my gear using my gear switch.  This created other issues that I was not able to resolve.   

On my system when Joy2Key is running and I open another program on my desktop like Google, the Joy2Key menu comes up instead of Google.  Also when Joy2Key is running and I try to use the keyboard to input data with a program that is already open like Active Sky the keyboard will not work.  I resorted to ctrl-alt-del to turn Joy2Key off.  Once off my system was still struggling until I rebooted.  It may be an issue with my system but for now Joy2Key has been uninstalled.

I just minimize Joy-to-Key and the PSX.NET Router and my StreamDeck software and fly. My Sim PC does not do anything else. I have others I use in flight for other programs.

If all else fails- G still works, but for me this UP/DOWN keystroke solution has been a boon.
