Vertical path deleted

Most likely user error, but need to ask.

I wanted to modify the cruise speed and then I got vertical path deleted. IT was gone for perhaps 5 min and then reappeared by itself. However, the plane did not adjust cruise speed even though it was showing modified cruise speed in the FMC.
I also noted that the FMC was showing on Climb page FL321 instead of FL320, thus never reaching the assigned cruise altitude.

Never seen this happen before, and most likely som silly user error, but any advice is appreciated

To analyse this effect, we need a situ file that can reload the situation that was present shortly before you make the user actions that cause this effect. Additionally, we need to know the exact steps you made so that we can reproduce your steps.

Any clue on how I can find that situ? Is it saved automatically? It was 2 flights ago.

If it's more than 7 minutes ago, there's no autosaved file of that scenario anymore.

When you see something unusual, immediately make a copy of these two files:
