Fire/overheat detection fault - EICAS advisory

Hi all,

has anyone ever seen this EICAS advisory message on the real deck?

>DET FIRE/OHT 1 (15 characters; shown in PSX and in Boeing FCOMs)

or

>DET FIRE/OVHT 1 (16 characters; shown in certain engineering books)


Looks like a typo in the Boeing FCOMs (which has been copied to many other manuals). EICAS messages allow up to 16 characters, so it makes no sense to abbreviate "overheat" to "OHT" instead of "OVHT".

Strange.. Even the Boeing (Engineering) Fault Isolation Manual uses > DET FIRE/ OHT x

The Maintenance Manual, however, uses "DET FIRE/ OVHT 1" (uncareted though)
