Has anyone tried PSX with Windows 11?

Also if you are using older PC's to run your cockpit under windows, then forget Windows 11...
Looks like MS have finally found a way to get people to look seriously at Mac and Linux....

Let's leave Windows to the people with money that can replace hardware every 6 months (or so).....

None of my machines, including those bought within the last 5 years support TPM. So what a pity no Windows 11 for me  8) ;)

PSX, SIOC and PSXseecon are working fine in Win 11, but there is a (known) severe bug in the new File Explorer.

Sometimes when you drag an open window to another position by pointing with the cursor at its top bar the cursor starts moving in all kinds of weird patterns. You have lost control completely. The only way to reset it is by ctrl-alt-delete or powering down.

I regret I upgraded at Day 1...

You better wait till Microsoft has fixed it.

How on earth did they manage that?

I wouldn't trust Windows to tell me if it was daytime or not. It's beyond junk - these kinds of behaviors really make me wonder what it is doing under-the-hood (spying).

Now at the dust has settled a bit, any refinements to the opinions on Windows 11? Any glaring bugs that haven't been fixed yet? Any updates on how it's playing with the various elements of the PSX ecosystem?

I'm using PSX on a Windows 11 machine without any problems.

To be honest, if Win11 would have Java issues, 99% of the business world would have shut down by now. So I think Win11 is safe at this moment.

Okay, good to hear. Thanks guys.
