i am in the process of setting up PSX for the first time and i have a Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo i would like to use. reading the documentation and looking in the USB options menu there are a lot of assignments i would like to assign that are not there like "toggle reversers, and direct commands for gear up and gear down". is there any way to get to these commands and assign either a keyboard key or joystick assignment to it?

My "Getting started with PSX" tutorial series is now seven    years old, but many aspects still remain relevant. In Part 1 (https://aerowinx.com/downloads/Getting%20started%20with%20PSX%20-%20part%201.zip) in the section on "assigning USB hardware within PSX" I mention the use of JoyToKey, a great utility that converts button presses into keystrokes.

Those keystrokes can, of course include the ones listed in Hardy's manual (the "Keyboard - Summary" section on pp 29 - 33). which will give you a much wider range of functions to assign to your hardware. So assign backspace to toggle the reversers, G to cycle the gear lever, and so on. If needed, you can also find an alphabetical listing of Hardy's keystrokes in Appendix 2 of the tutorial (Part 1) document.

Have fun!
