Hardy,

Whist scanning through my AAR documents I noticed this hitherto missed item & was wondering if you could implement it in a future update?

Hi Hardy,

yes, they do. Most of them are active freighters now, but also HL7428 (seems to be pax) is still active.

Does anybody have a photo of this feature? The drawings are not precise.

I'm slowly wading through my collection of additional B744 Manuals & searching around for you.

This YT Channel is created by a pilot from the carrier in question & in the footage at the beginning you can just make out the Symbology on the PFD (albeit very poor shot & with the distortion created by CRTs under certain light conditions):

Thank you, Steve.

I have contacted him privately to try & gain some clearer footage.

I was also incorrect about by inference regarding this option & all KAL aircraft. After diving deep into the manuals only one aircraft had the option & after passing through CLX it went off to storage in the desert.

It is not an option on any of the Ex KAL aircraft in service with Atlas Air or Kalitta. My apologies.

Its the same for AirBridgeCargo. The aircraft I was looking at was an Ex CargoLogicAir example which was actually a -8.  However, it is a customer option on their -8 fleet. I have clear footage footage here for you although it appears the graphic appearance is smaller in comparison to the CRT footage I posted earlier:

The footage starts at approx 17:00:

This is the relevant FCOM image showing G-CLAB (-8). Now back with AirBridgeCargo as VP-BIN

Thanks Hardy!

I'll modify my PSX Model Files where applicable in DropBox later today.

Interesting. I use the rad alt with the circle, but these drawings are showing just the readout and no circle?

I suspect when this feature is enabled, there is no circle around the rad alt (text only) and the ALT replaces the circle in some way.
