Corridor points - question

Hardy,

I noticed accidentally that when in flight (starting flight from saved situ), parser for corridor points always look at the points that are initially set (when you paste your corridor points from your flight plan). The problem is that sometimes some points are not anymore in FMC (for example when you load flight that is let's say in the middle of the route) parser cannot find them. If these are not points from database (as it is in most cases) parser signals error and you are stuck with no corridor weather (I bet that most of the people won't notice it). This can be easy to repair (copy point data from flight plan at the current position) but you have to remember that every time you load situation you must go to check if parser for corridor point is happy and have to fiddle with copying, selecting and checking if parser is happy. Can you maybe look at this ?

Thanks and

Best regards

Can your flight planner also provide format D or E? (D and E include lat/lon data.)

I am using PFPX, must check ...  8)

just checked: flight planner can provide lat/lon data
it looks like this:

BUNLU                          USPOK                         FL
N1634.5                       N1423.9                       N1208.5
E01339.5                     E01420.6                     E01502.3
FL370  301/032 -49     FL370  320/021 -50     FL370  351/025 -50
FL350  318/040 -44     FL350  337/027 -44     FL350  357/025 -45
FL330  327/047 -39     FL330  344/035 -39     FL330  000/030 -40
FL310  333/053 -35     FL310  347/044 -34     FL310  001/038 -35
FL290  336/050 -30     FL290  350/044 -30     FL290  003/040 -30

Next time I will generate data in format D or E :-)

I've checked the system; I won't change it. It would cause too much cache chaos. The other formats solve the problem anyway. Formats without coords should only be used if the plan is created in PSX.
