An update on my side:
I had also the Aerowinx folder on the desktop.

I moved it to the Application folder, and now I can again launch PSX by double-clicking on AerowinxStart.jar

PS : When the Aerowinx folder was installed on the desktop, I had the following error in the logs :

Sandbox: java(58377) System Policy: deny(1) file-read-data /Users/jackTer/Desktop/Aerowinx
Violation:       System Policy: deny(1) file-read-data /Users/jackTer/Desktop/Aerowinx
Process:         java [58377]
Path:            /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-15.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java

May be a new security feature introduced by a recent Mac OS update.

Hi jackTer,

Very good information, I tried as well to move the Aerowinx folder into the Application folder, and I can as well launch PSX by double-clicking on AerowinxStart.jar

Everything works and it's much easier ;)

Thank you again ;)

Good morning all,

not exactly on topic but maybe it helps for some of you ...

I have upgraded my Mac [mini] to MacOS 11 "Big Sur" already and can report that PSX runs perfectly fine on MacOS11.

Hello,

is your friend sure he has the latest PSX update? If he has version 10.134 or higher, the problem shouldn't occur anymore.

It was a problem with the desktop icon loader in some Macs. Here's the solution:
