Hi Mcarpenter, to give you an idea of how these two work together, you can watch this video I made a week ago or so:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWqWAv1gkn4&t=1s

It's really fluid and brings both worlds together.

Have a couple of questions
1) Is this the Default X Plane 11 747? Coz, I was not able to use another livery with the 747 which comes with XView plugin
2) What version of Xplane 11 is this? 11.50B9?
747 is not an airplane, it is a symbol of inspiration....

1) It is the default X-Plane 10 aircraft. Sadly, the Xview plugin doesn't work correctly with XP11's default 747. I've been working (like, since forever) on an open source version of Xview that supports XP11 native 747, but it's still in very early alpha. I'm also working on an open source program for connecting PSX to Navigraph maps, I hope to have it ready for a test release in a few weeks.

2) X-Plane 11.41. I'm using some addons to improve default visuals. Let me know if you need their names, I don't have them with me at the moment.

Take care

Hi vnangli,
there is a PSX plane version of the 744 around somewhere on this forum, which was specifically intended to be used with XView.
If you use it, then you can add all the liveries you want...I got plenty of them.
If interested I can share my PSX Plane folder..it is  2.12 GB in size with already all the liveries installed.
Just copy it to your \X-Plane 11\Aircraft directory.

Swiso, why were you hiding all these beauties in your closet??? Hey, thank you a lot for sharing the PSX plane and the liveries..All I had to do was to put the XView Plugin into the folder within PSX plane....Thats it, I was off of KJFK...Heading to KORD.
Thanks again for sharing these files..Good night.

:D Glad you like it !
Found them mainly in the Xplane forum....had to modify some files in some liveries to make them visible in the PSX Plane options in Xplane...that was quite a job....
Now I added the Cargolux livery as well.
Enjoy it and safe flights !

Me too - for those of us with marginal computter rigs this would be a godsend! Go evaamo!

Hi evaamo
Have you been able to make any more progress with your PSX-XPlane interface? I was starting to write the same to use the standard Laminar 747 but perhaps I don't need to if yours is already "available" (please) 😉🤞
