Dear all,
Navigraph is conducting annual FlightSim Community Survey 2019 until December 2, 2019. If you want to share your opinion and let them know that we use Aerowinx PSX :), go to:

https://www.navigraph.com/flightsimsurvey2019?source=aerowinx

It should take a few minutes, but I do believe that it is worthwhile.

Cheers,
Andrej

Hi Andrej,

I think Aerowinx related statistics are irrelevant to Navigraph as they cannot support Aerowinx products.

Dear Hardy,
I see your point and you have explained that NavData can not be sourced from them. But there are several users trying to persuade them to add PSX to their "moving map" feature.

It is an ongoing effort (has been for a few years), but I am not giving up. IMHO, I see this as extremely beneficial feature (something like the Taxiway for PS1.3).

Cheers,
Andrej

OK, I see.

Are there any questions in their survey where you can express this wish?

Dear Hardy,
yes. There are several open-ended boxes. Also, at the end, there is an open-ended box.
I have contacted them directly via Facebook (as well as their forums).

Sincerely,
Andrej

With regard to the moving map feature available with the Navigraph Charts app for iPad type devices or the Navigraph Moving Map programme & any future ability to provide connectivity directly PSX:

I am part of the iPad Charts App Beta Test Team. I have spoken to one of the senior devs at Navigraph about the future integration of PSX, it is most definitely on their radar, but they are currently very busy with the various chart app & programme development cycles.

Currently the only way a PSX user can utilise the Navigraph Moving Map function is by taking the positional data from a scenery generator like p3D or FSX which is "slaved" to PSX.

Hardy .... as & when Navigraph are ready to integrate PSX I am more than happy to "grease the wheels" & get you talking to the devs at Navigraph.

Having said that .... the MORE of us that complete this survey & mention future integration with PSX the better IMVHO.

Best
