PMDG are planning to next release a new B737NG for FSX, with visible dust, dirt and wear in the cockpit. Its purpose is to increase realism. I like the idea.

I thought the last release of PMDG looked like that, but maybe we are spoilt with crisp graphics and a  brand new plane delivery in PSX. ;-)

I for one am perfectly happy with the crisp clean new Boeing feel.  Should you decide to depict dirt and wear Hardy, please consider leaving NEW as a user selectable option.  No, I'm not interested in the cockpit showing age over time/use ;)

I don't think visual wear is appropriate in PSX anymore than you would expect it in CBT modules pilots use to train with.

Planes get worn, and it does give them charm, but I don't find the practice appealing in other sims either.

That reminds me to clean the ship.

Too many scratches!

I know - take lots of photos of the World Flight sim cockpit AFTER the event, and use that as a model for PSX dirt visuals!

Hard to imagine anything more "realistic" than that.  (grins)
Best wishes,

Tell me about it,
the things we find in the simulator after worldflight. and I have to leave the door open for a week to get the smell out.

Hardy I sell Mothers products, maybe we could do a deal??? A bottle of mothers with every PSX? ;-)

Guess what web site I got it from :-)

Funny enough, I've been shopping there as well, and I will take one of these with me to Coventry. It will be mounted at the back of the pedestal and is linked to the Tug.
