Hi all,

today while visiting Avsim.com, I have learned of Eric's passing (http://www.vanemburghsneider.com/obituary/Eric-W.-Ernst/Ramsey-New-Jersey/1791279). Since my FS98 days, I have come to know Eric and his critically acclaimed add-on panels. They were very popular and at that time, one of the best add-ons in the community. For FS2000 he released the 767: Pilot In Command add-on.

This was my first commercial add-on that I purchased and loved ever since. Without hesitation, this was very complex add-on, that gave many of us in the community, first hand experience with the Boeing 767 and exposure to its features. https://www.avsim.com/pages/0301/767pic/pic.html

Few years later, in the FSX days, the LDS767 was released. Which was based on the PIC767. Few years later, I capitalized on this experience in actual LDS767, during the Stevens-VA meet in Frankfurt.

I have had several exchanges with Eric on forums and he was always very kind, gentle, and must had have lots of patience. I was in my early teens back then, and he had always responded in a polite and understandable manner.

Eric was only 51 years old. This is so tragic.

God speed and thank you for everything.

"That final flight West is a flight we all have to take..."

Very sad.

I loved his 767 panel back in the day.
