Well, this is most likely to cause issues. PSX and Simconnect should NOT(!) use the same port!
Try with Simconnect set to use port 29747, as per WidePSX Manual page 5.

Quick question on WASM_V20-OverrideB748.
Not sure how to use this update compared to the predecessor version, in MSFS2020 I do not see a difference compared to WASM_V10, no virtual cockpit. Did I make something wrong or is the VC only visible in MSFS2024?

I extracted PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM_V20 into my Community folder and removed the older PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM_V10.
When loading e.g. VH-OEJ nothing changed.

Hi Gary,

Apologies to bother, but I still do not understand the purpose or use case of WASM_V20 :(

WidePSX worked with the Asobo B748 even without having WASM_V* installed, as far as I know.
And WidePSX did not work with the light weight WASM_V10, did it?

Mostly I use PSX.NET to couple PSX with MSFS, but every now and then I try WidePSX and PSXMSFS GUI, and that's why I wonder what features WASM_V20 gives me where.

I must be missing something here, I fear, although I think I read most of the related threads.

Garry, I'm sorry I have not as yet given feedback on your efforts, real life has intervened on my play time!

I believe it will just be a matter of time before Wide PSX becomes inoperative with MSFS 2024 and with JP stepping back that could leave some of us with VC requirements looking for solutions.

Thanks for the other link and I understand Garys WASM_V20-OverrideB748.zip package is a quick shot intended for MSFS2024 and was not tested on MSFS2020.

Not sure if this is helpful for you, but on MSFS2020 I do not see any change using the new WASM_V20 compared to WASM_V10.

The original Asobo B748i works as before with full virtual cockpit and limited FPS, nothing appears overridden.
The WASM aircraft do not show a virtual cockpit but still great performance.
I tested only the WASM liveries "VH-OEJ", "White freighter RR" and "CLX LXVCV (Cargolux)".
Outside models appear unchanged and beautiful.

However I am not sure whether I did something wrong during installation or testing.
I removed both "<sim-dir>\LocalCache\Packages\Community\PSX.NET.MSFS.WASM_V10" and "<sim-dir>\LocalState\packages\psx.net.msfs.wasm_v10" before WASM_V20 installation.

P.S.
Although I am not looking for a full VC I just feel I miss a "simple windshield frame" when looking to the front during approaches while using PSX.NET. I don't care of any buttons, switches etc. as I control all through PSX. That's why I looked into this thread.
