X-Plane 11 - Should I bother upgrading for PSX?

Hi

I am using PSX with XP10, and the excellent XView, as my scenery generator and I am happy with both the performance and the experience.

So, now that XP11 is out of beta, should I bother upgrading?  What will I get by using this with PSX that I do not get with XP10.  I would very much appreciate the views of those who have made the jump please?

Many thanks
Malcolm

I have found frame rates are a lot better in XP11. I also find the lighting effects to be a lot better as well.
The 747 model is being addressed by Mike for his Xview add-on so that should bring the whole package up to scratch.
I also use P3D v4 and find that the scenery based on Orbx is amazing and the frame rates are also better now it is 64 bit.
I used XP10 and find that the move to XP11 was worth the time taken, I would also look at the freeware HD mesh that is available and the W2XP and PhotoXP sceneries available...

Thanks Alex.  I think I may give it a try then!

Just a further confirmation that indeed XP11.05 provides better fps and smoothness than XP10, as far as I can recall because XP10 has long been uninstalled from my PC...

Weather - default - also get's rendered a lot nicer in XP11 than in XP10, IMO...

But, honestly, being it X-Plane or P3D when I tried to use that one, I always find myself reverting back to PSX standalone because as much as I don't like some of the limitations of the windshield views, and the absence of lateral perspective, I do feel that the whole experience feels more "true to real", smooth, harmonious, specially when performing a landing under adverse weather... OTOH, I couldn't care less about the rest of the visuals when using PSX... Houses, trees, streets, cars... are all useless CPU / GPU cycles for me when playing PSX...
