Hardy...

I am very sure that you are collecting all these "collective info" for the upcoming PS X Manual.  Therefore I am expecting your "essay" in the said Manual will be in perfect order "grammer"..!!

But one thing for sure, I have absorbed quite a lot from those guys.
OK....I am ok, if you are ok...!!

Hi all,

May I ask,

- what is a Throttle humanizer (guess: moving all 4 throttle levers at once by moving any throttle lever)

-  Allow printout separation from flight deck printer. What is meant with this feature? Flight deck prints will be printed on a desktop printer?

Thanks Walter

Hardy Heinlin

The mouse can always move any throttle or pairs or all -- depending on the mouse x coords. The humanizer is something else, it's a minor "mechanical" effect (small enough that the EECs can equalize the final output).

The printed paper can, if enabled, fly off the flight deck world through an intergalactic wormhole into the Mac/Windows desktop world where the paper can be copied and pasted or edited manually like a notepad.

Wonderful - Thanks, Hardy

As suggested, I've changed it to:

[x] Set zones automatically using aircraft position and downloaded METARs

I need more room. How about that?

[x] Set zones by aircraft position and downloaded METARs

Can "by" replace "using"?

Cheers,

Edit: It's OK, there's enough room for "using". Only "automatically" is removed. But I'm still interested if "by" can replace it.

Hardy,

"by" can replace "using".  It's like saying "according to."

Great job like always!

[x] Use downloaded weather

And then explain further in the manual what this means, and how it's set.

Thanks, guys.

Will, I want to avoid RTFM as much as possible :-) If there's room for an essential info and the sentence remains short, I put it into the GUI. But not like in MS Windows where one has to read walls of texts before even the simplest action.
