Practice approaches

I want to practice some arrivals into the LAX system (Baset 3 arrivals, via Hec) and am trying to find out how I re set the FMC once I have loaded the Basic 019 situ file for example. I can drag the aircraft but can't seem to clear the existing FMC position. An easy solution will be much appreciated.

1. Enter the DEST airport on the RTE page.

2. Go to the last LEGS page, delete VECTORS, downselect the last waypoint (RW06), upselect it in L1 on the first LEGS page, delete L1, EXECute. All legs are empty now.

3. Go to the DEP/ARR page and select BASET 3.

Which part exactly do you not understand?
