Hi,
I've just joined after coming across the software, I've been looking for something to replicate the CMC functions for aircraft and this looks to do the job. The reason for looking is I work in a university on an aircraft maintenance engineering degree. I feel the students need to experience some modern avionics as the aircraft they work on are a jetstream 31 and jet provost.
Can somebody tell me/ point me in the direction of what the dream setup would be with multi monitors maybe and instructor station?

Thanks in advance

Just to be sure: the 744 CMC is not modeled directly by PSX, but there is an addon that goes a long way.

If you don't actually fly the aircraft but instead have it sit on the simulated ground for ground tests and experiments, a single 24" monitor is perfectly fine.

Thanks Hoppie for the reply,

Thats how I found out about the PSX software by searching for CMC sims and coming across the forum.
I think I'll start off with just the software and a single monitor and if it works for the students then maybe build it up to multi monitor rig.

Lee-

The versatility and configurability of PSX is unmatched.... from an 11' MacBook Air to a full flight deck- the experience it provides is always educational and immersive.  You can isolate and concentrate on one system and get a completely wholistic experience.  Then you can pilot a -436 from the Lake District to Fragrant Harbour and leave fully satiated.

It is unparalleled at the moment, and (for me at least) adding P3D v3.4 is icing on the cake (did I mention I'm addicted to icing?).

Welcome to the addiction!
