Could you quickly replace the airliners.net photos by links, Peter? Otherwise we'll get into copyright trouble.

Thanks for the tips, Peter. I just corrected my AI. It's OK now.

Thanks,

New version:

It was relatively easy because it's modular and based on common constants.

The ILS scales and pitch lines and the aircraft symbol needs to be adjusted yet.

Wow. Looks perfect

1 or 2% make a big difference.

Hi Hardy,    Just an observation, and may be that there is problems with correct colour interpretation on the photos, but it would seem that the cross hairs on the EVA AIR and  South African Airways FD are white instead of the normal magenta as demonstrated by QANTAS.

Hi Derek,

the FD bars are always magenta. If you see white FD bars on a photo then it's just the result of photographic over-exposure.

I read this thread a little late. The more questions posed, the more I discover there is a LARGE number of variations in display between CRT and LCD, even in rising runway. I am not sure what carriers purchase nowadays, but assume it is largely LCD due to advantages, at least in weight, space and power requirements.
Side comment: when an attitude indicator is also designed to display Flight Director information, the display is commonly referred to as Attitude Director Indicator (ADI).
