Quick elevation transition for PSX.NET P3D ExternalSim

Hardy - please hold off any investigation for now as I'm seeing more and more evidence that it's a problem with Prepar3d or ExternalSim.  :)

Edit: I'm now happy I've resolved the issue - the extremely fast elevation transition was causing some safety logic in ExternalSim to trigger as travelling at 10000 m/s is rather unusual! (Also causing a positive feedback loop between PSX and ExternalSim)

OK, here's the first beta:

http://aerowinx.com/board/index.php?topic=3685.0

Examples:

-9999900 = no effect

-9999901 = 1 second

-9999920 = 20 seconds

-9999999 = external elevation data disconnected

Hi Hardy,

Just to be sure. On the above values, is it
-9999920 for 20 seconds  (7 digits?)
or

-999920 for  20 seconds (6 digits?)

Thanks

-Stephan

Hardy Heinlin

Always 7 digits, as shown in the quote.

-9999903
-9999909
-9999910
-9999912
-9999919
-9999923
-9999945
...

What's making you unsure?

I had the impression that in some posts iot as on 6 digits... probably a typo.

Thanks for the confirmation.
Cheers

6 digits were used in older versions over five years ago.
