747 Equip/config question

I am having difficulty sorting through the Aircraft "Equipment/Configurations" page in PFPX.  I've searched and pored over a fair amount of stuff, but can't seem to put this together for my 744 (pretty much the stock pax UA model).

I'm mainly concerned with the info that will be necessary for online flying with VATSIM i.e. "Transponder capability," "ADS-B," and "FAA equip code."  The templated 744 I used had "X" for the latter, so I'm suspicious of all of the pre-filled items.

Thanks for any help/info!

Hi petdocvmd,

Do you use PFPX? If not, it's worth looking into. There's a page that defines and lets you select all the appropriate equipment modifiers for a flight plan. I can help with more information when I'm home tonight if you need.

Hi Scott,

This issue arises because VATSIM uses the old FAA system of using a single letter to denote equipment, whereas the ICAO system was to outline each individual piece of equipment.  That said I don't think many virtual controllers take that much notice of the equipment code as the majority of people don't file the right one anyway.

All that said, below is the info for a couple of UAL jumbos operating to European airspace today:

N118UA - SDE3FGHIJ3J5M1M3RWXYZ
N177UA - SDE3FGHIJ3J5M1M3RWXYZ

Appreciate the responses!  Yes, I am using PFPX, and I guess I can distill my confusion into two questions:

1. What are the correct PFPX codes for my 747?
2. How are these translated to the VATSIM code?

Thanks,

Scott

Yes, I know that tool; I wrote the PFPX import filter for PSX :-) I was just asking because sometimes users call PSX "PFX" or "PSFX" etc. and so I'm not always sure whether a question is addressed to me :-)
