Throttles not moving smoothly

Please forgive me if this has been discussed, I've searched and do not see anything applicable.

I'm using a Saitek X52 throttle. When I move the throttles, the physical handles in the sim and the white EPR/N1 lines on the upper ND move in stages or steps. It makes an approach quite difficult. I've tried every setting I can find in the Instructor panel, and haven't seen anything in the manual. In other applications like P3D or Kerbal they move fine, smoothly as expected.

As example, I'm at cruise and idle the power. As I move them up my available steps are .75, then .88, then 1.02, 1.15, etc. I cannot hit anything in between.

What have I missed? I've even looked at a few Youtube videos to see what others experience, but I wasn't able to see the ND at the right moments. Just in case it's supposed to be like this? Although I cannot imagine that.

Thank you, guys.

On Instructor > Preferences > USB, at the list items where your throttles are assigned, enter "0" in the associated "Neutral" edit fields.

Thank you sir, that did it. I'm looking at the applicable area in the manual and trying to fine tune my other controls.

Nothing popped out about this issue in there so I had no idea.

Thanks again.
