Hello,

You might know the excellent IPAD app "PSX remote".
But I didn't find other apps for MCP, trims, COMMs etc...

I tried a "DIY" solution.

If an ipad apps developer makes an app specific to Aerowinx, I would by it!

I didn't want to announce it so soon because it's still a very big WIP (work in progress), but I've been working on an iPad Instructor Station app, where it utilizes Apple's storyboard feature for iOS devices and sets up multiple instructor screens filled with big buttons to control the simulation, like the touch screen panels you'd find in the full motions.

It sets up the MCP, main panel, moves switches, sets/releases parking brakes... etc. - I'm about to work on scenarios and such.

I can't promise it'll be the next shiny app that has every single thing you'd expect, available for iPad, but I can tell you that it's a handy little tool I use for all of my flights now.
Best regards,

Very interested... already use 2 iPads for PSX flight, and this sounds like the perfect app for the third- the iPad Pro....

Do keep us in the loop... and share a screenshot or two when appropriate.  Thanks for your efforts in the PSX ecosystem!  Each of these support nuggets are treasured.

Best- C

I'm interested too and eager to see the result

Thanks for your interest gents!

Here's a screenshot I just took - it's a very early Alpha version of InstructPSX.

But like I mentioned, it will contain big buttons like the ones found in the full motions that allow touch screen panels to control the sim. In this case, the instructor can control the time of day, set which pilot has "master" flight director, set the autopilot mode (L, C, R) for the pilot chosen in command, and a lot more to be added.

I'll keep you all posted soon.

Merry Christmas!
- Henry

I used AIR KEYBOARD application.

It was just a test, actually I don't use it.
It is not really easy to setup...  and i am not able to explain I can't remember the steps to do...
Roughly, I took a screenshot of the PSX system I want to interact with, and I connected each space of the screenshot (example : A/P disconnect bar) with the corresponding key of the PC keyboard (F6 key in this example) (if you are used to  computers you can Give it a try)
