Engine out in other big Boeing airliners...

Since some of you here are RL 744 captains, probably with experience also in the FBW 777, I would really like to read your comments on the triple seven behaviour regarding single engine failure after V1.

Is it a lot softer and easier to cope with than a 744 with it's nº1 or nº 4 or even nº1 and 2 or nº 3 and 4  failing under such circumstances ?

AH! And if by any chance one of you is among the few that have ever driven the rare 748i, which is also FBW, what about that one ?
