Hi All,

Whilst I have zero experience in making hardware components, I think the time may be right for a 'dipping my feet in the water' exercise starting with the landing lights over to the logo light.

Breaking the where to start question down! Guessing need to start with the boards themselves and interface program.

It may lead to say one panel containing the aforementioned switches, as well as start switches, cut off switches, transponder, seatbelts, autobrakes. basically items I use quickly esp. in runway entry / exit phase.

Any pointers gratefully received.

Thanks

Hi

I now understand what is needed for opencockpits. .... however I'll be getting some Arduino boards from a friend so will investigate those.

There is off course plenty on YouTube to learn from but does anyone have any scripts that they wouldn't mind sharing please?

I'm only looking at getting a few switches working initially.

Thanks

Carl

Hi Carl,

Don't forget that for Opencockpits boards/hardware all the software is already available and free.
See my website about my PSXseecon tool and plenty of examples of scripts.

It's the software that makes the difference, not the hardware. ;)

My 2 cts.
