Upper Wind injection to PSX

Hi all,

I am wondering if it is any how possible to inject upperwinds (jetsreams, turbulence, icing?) to PSX from some outside source? F.ex. from Active Sky Nexy wihout using FSX. Or directly from NOAA database?

Also if this is possible but not yet done just let me know and I could look into making something. As I think that this would be very nice so we could plan our flights accurately with PFPX :).

Best Regards,

There is a program (still slight work in progress) at http://www.psxaddons.com/psx-weather/

Which does this, but does require P3D to be running.

Yeah I found that one. It is very nice however people without P3D (like me) will not benefit from that one.

What's wrong with PSX? If you set up the jet streams, the winds are surprisingly accurate.

If you use an external program don't you lose things like CAT around the jet stream?

I think that the PSX is great and I find nothing wrong about its winds. The only problem is that I would love if I could make the winds match my OFP somehow. Of course I have tried to set the jetsreams as close as I can find them in the SIG WX charts, but it could be even better with this kind of software :).
