Garry,

whenever the weather is being injected into FSX:SE by PSX AND there is a low overcast layer reported in the METAR ( in PSX  ), or FG, I have no cloud coverage of fog in FSX:SE.

Do you plan to review the weather injcetion algorithm for such layers ?

Hi José,

Are you using VisualPSX version 5.10? The thin fog problem was fixed by that version. I doubt that FSX-SE would behave differently to other FSX versions in this regard so it should work.

But as you see no fog at all then check that you have the PSX weather set for the airport where PSX is. If you use the instructor to reposition PSX the weather doesn't automatically change to the new location.

Cheers,
Garry

Ok,

I'll check that and report back Garry, thx!

Garry,

if you try the default Casablanca approach ( raw data only ).

You have reduced visibility, down to minima, and yet in FSX it is practically CAVOK :)
